Our little life here as Moore’s…. Totally in awe of how fast these days went by – days filled with the sounds of laughter and reading aloud, the fragrance of warm bread and fresh flowers, the smiles of encouragement and glimpses of grace, the moments of unexpected kindness and wonderful generosity, the melancholy of a season past and the excitement of the autumn to come, the hilarity in the mundane and the extravagance in the ordinary. Here’s a snippet of the food I made and the home I’ve taken part in making. This small space I have to love and steward and care for – a wee haven where we can share our lives with our friends, a shelter from the numerous stresses of life outside – is an immense privilege. Still have my side hustle as an accountant though. (jokes it’s a 9-5)
